Join Chicago Cares in mobilizing volunteers from across the city to support the important work our community partners are leading! For Chicagoans who care, building connections with neighbors, deepening our understanding of neighborhood goals and challenges, and being engaged civic servants, are first steps towards deeper involvement in Chicago. Civic participation is essential for a healthy, inclusive democracy, and a key ingredient for a more vibrant and equitable Chicago. Through direct engagement and education, volunteers will use the text banking platform to introduce Chicago Cares to community members who don't yet know about us and invite them to join us in civic action.
