The Pilsen Food Pantry can only succeed with the support of its wonderful volunteers! Since operations run mainly from donations, volunteer time exceeding 300 hours a week is needed to keep things running smoothly. COVID-19 vaccinated volunteers of all ages are welcome to volunteer. Pantry shopping hours 10-1:30 pm Mon, Tues, Weds + Fri [8:30 am-11:15 am &11:15 am-2:00 pm shifts] 2-5 pm Thurs [11:45 am-2:30 pm, 2:30-5:15 pm shifts] Please note that this location has multiple shifts throughout the week. It is really hard to keep track of shifts as they fill up so I will be adding this as an event for all days of the week when they have shifts available but that doesn't guarantee that there is a spot open every single day. When you register make sure to add in the comments which shift you signed up for I will be making an event on campus groups at the end of the semester and manually adding your total hours at the food pantry that way.
