Hello there fellow brothas! While it's tough budgeting expenses in college and not having enough money to go out on the weekend that shouldn't keep us from mingling with the ritzy. So if you wanna roll with the ballas then dress in your Sunday best and come out to this project! DINNER IS PROVIDED!!! (And if the ritzy are eating it you know it's good ;) The 17th Annual Fleur de Lis Ball is St. Vincent de Paul Center's $300,000 fundraiser including dinner, dancing, silent auction and raffle taking place on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Chicago Hilton and Towers downtown. Volunteers are needed to assist in all logistical aspects of the event; including a set-up crew that morning and an event crew that evening that will be working the door, taking tickets, processing ticket purchases, assisting with the silent auction, selling raffle tickets etc. Volunteers in the evening will work from roughly 5:00 PM to Midnight and dinner will be provided. This is a very fun event and ideal for groups (including fraternities and sororities and others) as well as individuals. WARNING: Gold diggers beware. This event does not guarantee you a pimp daddy's or dying cougar's riches. You may walk away as broke as you came.
