PLEASE SIGN UP FOR THIS EVENT BY NOON ON SATURDAY 9/23! The Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome (DADS) group is hosting a fundraising/awareness golf tournament for those with Down Syndrome, and need volunteers real bad!! It is at the Incline Village Golf Club in Foristell, Mo (exact address is the one listed above), which is about 35-45 minutes from UMSL. If you want to sign up for this event but are worried about a ride, please indicate when you sign up that you do need a ride, or contact me (Grace) ASAP and we can work it out. This event is near and dear to my heart and I will be there the entire day, along with some of my family! These are the shifts available: Shift 1: 10AM-12PM (ish)--Set-Up, arrive at location 15 minutes early, please! Shift 2: 12PM-5:30 (ish)--working closest to the pin (a golf thing, where you will be making sure no one is cheating as they swing), OR working the card game (people will pay to draw cards from you to tee-off at a closer spot). 5:30 is an estimated time of end, you'll be there until whenever the golfing ends, but it shouldn't be too much later than 5:30/6PM. Shift 3: 10AM-??--(I know it says 5:30PM--5:30PM but pretend it's 10AM-??) you can show up to help set-up, then just stay until whenever you you can to float around and help wherever/however is indicated by event coordinators. Sign up under this shift and say when you need/want/plan to leave by in the notes when you sign up if this is the option that you'd like to do :) Everything will be explained in further detail upon arrival on the day of.
