~We need 30-40 student volunteers to assist with April 28’s URS event~ We need help from 8:00 until 5:00 and for a number of tasks, including physically setting up the space, introducing oral presentations, tallying feedback from judges, and many other roles and jobs! You will sign up for the tasks and time that you’d like to work so you will not be asked to do something that you do not want to do or be forced to work at a time you aren’t able to. In exchange, you will receive a small thank you gift (spoiler—it’s a free shirt), lunch, food & drinks at the reception, and an opportunity that can be a great peek into the possibilities of undergraduate research at UMSL. Plus, it’s a volunteer experience that can look great to future employers or graduate programs!
