CIA Info Sesssion

Date: Apr 24, 2019 at 5:00pm to 6:30pm
CIA Representatives will provide information regarding the CIA and the variety of career and internship opportunities available. Undergraduates and Graduates of all academic disciplines are encouraged to attend. All CIA positions require US citizenship and relocation to the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Following the information session, we invite graduate and undergraduate students who are interested in CIA careers to participate in a short simulation exercise that puts you in the role of different DO professional occupations. “Einstein as an Asset” is a participation exercise where the audience is asked to look at a historic figure, Albert Einstein, as if he had been a clandestine intelligence source for the US government at the start of WWII. How would you evaluate the information he provided for intelligence and/or operational value? What else would you need to assess besides the information itself? Participants will be asked to look at Einstein through the eyes of a present-day CIA officer. REGISTER HERE: https://ucsd.joinhandshake.com/events/297582
