PPGA, Campus Y, and Young Dems are having a "Pro-Choice Pit Party" on October 17th in response to Kristan Hawkins, a self-proclaimed "anti-abortion villan", coming to campus. We are looking for volunteers that can act as safety liaisons, and guide participants away from the event if Hawkins' supporters decide to confront us. See the safety plan here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1u1-RPQg_VPKHudCo6BrXpLYrH04NrPmXPkKvjnWQn08/edit?usp=sharing All volunteers will arrive at the Pit between 5:45 and 6 PM to receive a shirt and walk through the plan with event coordinators. See a link to the safety plan below. Please email asouhan@unc.edu with your preferred shirt size. PLEASE sign up at this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F4BA9A72DABF9C07-45179468-prochoice#/
