Based in the university town of Chapel Hill, NC, Extraordinary Ventures, Inc. (EV) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that creates and nurtures self-sustaining small businesses designed around the skills of the young adults with autism and developmental disabilities that serve as its workforce.We employ young men and women with autism and other developmental disabilities. We create jobs and fund our programs through our space rental business as well as laundry services and other ventures. Friday Night Live! is a bi-weekly social event held at EV. For over three years, FNL! has brought music, dance, games, food and entertainment to EV on Friday nights for our members. From theme parties, to instructional classes to recreation time, FNL! gives our members a regular time and place to come together and enjoy themselves.
