Our primary goal for this event is to earn funds for both our organization and for the Autism Society of North Carolina’s scholarship fund that helps kids with autism go to a specialized summer camp. In addition, we want to make this a fun night for families affect by autism and community members who want to come have a good time, learn about autism and show their support. Only trained members can take care of the kids and so that would mean most of our club would be unavailable to take care of other tasks such as food (bringing and serving), transportation (we want to make this event as accessible to the student body as possible and so we would love to be able to offer rides to the venue), set up (we want to make sure this environment is kid friendly and is ready on time for guests to arrive) and clean up.
