On Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 10am-3pm, the UNC campus will hold its largest science outreach event of the year – the UNC Science Expo! Coordinated by UNC’s Morehead Planetarium and Science Center, the Expo will engage the public in science, math, technology and engineering through hands-on activities, talks, lab tours, stage performances and more. All events are free and open to the public. Last year, over 10,000 people attended this fun-filled day. We expect even more this time! We will also be encouraging everyone to stay for the Carolina Spring Football Game at 3pm at Kenan Stadium. WHAT YOU'LL DO Assist exhibitors in loading up their cars; Assist with appropriate removal of signage, balloons, trash, recycling, tables, chairs, tents, materials, and supplies.
