AI is one of the megatrends of our time, and one of its effects is growth in electricity demand. An AI-centric data center can use as much power as a mid-size city, spurring the electric power industry to expand its infrastructure. This has implications for climate, local communities, and all of us as consumers. This event will bring together a wide range of perspectives on the AI buildout and how it can be made more sustainable.
