prisons have a pretty limited selection of books, so the nc women's prison book project works to provide incarcerated women with books they might not otherwise have access to. during a shift, you'll pack requests to be sent to jails and prisons across the state. the space is pretty cold so make sure to bring a jacket if it's chilly. please carpool as much as possible!!
