Basic information: The brave Ester Lederman has offered to share her story with the UNC-Chapel Hill community. Esther escaped Nazi-occupied Poland at a young age, lived in hiding for almost 2 years, and bore the tragedy of losing family members. All students are encouraged to attend, especially because such an opportunity won’t be available in the future. The event, called A Dwindling Band of Witnesses: Esther’s Story of Holocaust Survival, is planned for Wednesday, November 20th at 5:30 pm at the Stone Center Auditorium. There is no admission fee.
