Join PORCH to sort non-perishable donations and fresh foods to make sure their Market is fully stocked for their Food for Families participants. This program serves families with children in Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools that are experiencing food insecurity. Volunteers will -Record weight of donations and other incoming food -Unpack, inspect, and sort non-perishables and fresh food, including produce -Organize, group, and front-face items on Market shelves -Prepare pre-packed bags of non-perishables and fresh foods **Closed-toed shoes are required.
