An alumni from our chapter is hosting an event called “Purpose for Preemies” that will also be on the CSULB campus. The idea of the service is to knit hats for infants who are unable to come home due to a critical illness. This initiative hopes to provide warmth and support not only to these preemies but also to their loved ones. No experience is needed! We can teach you at the event. The loom and yarns will be provided, but donations would be appreciated: extra loom, fabric glue, ribbon, scissors & fabric (27x30) One of our largest events we are proud of is coming up on March 22 from 8:00am to 1:00pm. From 8-10am, we will be setting up different stations at CSULB to assemble bags of food and hygiene products. After all bags have been assembled, we will be personally handing them out to the people of skid row, along with bottles of water, and other supplies we have. Donations would also be appreciated: fruit, water bottles, bread, cheese/deli slices, peanut butter, jelly, hygiene products
