This past year has been a tough time for many so help us send some love this Valentine’s Day! The Be Our Valentine Volunteer project provides an at home opportunity to create a Valentine’s Day card that will be shared with a child in the community. The card can be any size, medium, store bought or home-made. Use your creativity to brighten someone’s day! Project Overview: -Make as many cards as you would like! Keep the message generic and focused on Valentine’s Day so they can be shared with a child of any age. -Sentiments that imply the child’s circumstance are less than ideal should be avoided. (e.g., "Cheer Up!", "You are not forgotten", etc.) -Sign the card with your first name only. They want to know YOU are thinking of them! To receive credit, You must make 3 cards and send a picture of your decorated valentine's cards. Please mail your cards by Tuesday, February 9 so they may arrive and be distributed the week of Valentine’s Day.
