Satellite Affordable Housing Associates is committed to providing quality, service-enriched, affordable housing in the bay area. The Community Engagement Program aims to connect SAHA’s residents with the surrounding neighborhood through innovative, high impact, and responsive programs that forge mutually beneficial relationships. By providing consistent, volunteer-led programming, we hope to build community at each of our properties while offering accessible socialization opportunities. Help out with building raised garden beds for low-income seniors to plant, tend and grow fruits and vegetables for the community to enjoy. The Garden Build is about four hours, and will include constructing the beds, filling them with dirt, and possibly planting the first seedlings. This is a great team building activity, and/or a chance to get to know some new people. Experienced staff from SAHA and City Slicker Farms will be on hand to direct and assist with the project. *Lunch will be provided.* **PLEASE IN THE COMMENT WRITE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS** Please make sure to meet behind the RAW at 9:30am and leave NO LATER than 9:35am.
