Hi Ozzies~ A lovely Alumna from Gamma Beta, who also works at TFCU, has offered us an amazing service opportunity that you can't miss out on! What is TFCU? TFCU strives to connect, inspire, and empower Filipino-American millennials helping them realize their full potential in relation to their cultural identity through free Ted Talks for college students/young professionals by a great lineup of speakers who tell their stories of how they got to where they are today. This year, TFCU will be holding their TIKIM Filipino Food Run. TIKIM (a Filipino word that means “to taste”) is a one-of-a-kind 5K run or walk that celebrates culture and the value of giving back through loads of happiness and tons of food. They are in need of volunteers, so it'd be great to have many of us come out and help :) BUT WAITTT, there's more, in return we also get benefits: An official TIKIM t-shirt, breakfast & lunch provided by the Filipino food festival, parking, and loads of fun and an awesome experience!
