*NAMESAKE CHALLANGE PLEDGES ONLY* The class of DFH will be putting together care packages for women who have experienced domestic abuse. Have pledges be in charge for specific supplies to donate and then have one day where we can all get together and work on assembling the care packages. Items to donate: Combs/brushes, hair ties/clips, pads and tampons, chocolate or candy, wipes and in addition, little booklets we’d all prepare beforehand of our own stories and struggles and how we pushed through it and how they (the women of domestic abuse) can push through it also because they are not alone and there are people who will be there for them. Since our items are pretty small, we’d need small bags to assemble the items in and decorate the bags to make it more intimate between us who are giving it and them who are receiving.
