CSUEB Field Day is a first time campus event being held this spring on Wednesday, May 18th from 11am-2pm. The overarching goal of Field Day is to encourage students, faculty and staff at CSUEB to move more daily, take a timeout to practice self-care, improve campus engagement, and to enhance the sense of campus community at East Bay. The planning committee currently consists of students and staff representing Recreation & Wellness, Athletics, Residence Life, Student Life and Leadership Programs, Greek Life, and ASI. Planned activities include traditional field day events such as the 3 legged race and potato sack race; lawn games such as bocce ball, croquet, and horse shoes; and main events such as tug of war and bubble ball. There will also be a DJ, food trucks, a tie dye t-shirt station, and therapy dogs! Students, staff, and faculty alike are encouraged to get involved in community outreach and engagement by hosting an activity and/or participating in activities on Field Day! There are also opportunities to help with event set up or clean up. ***END TIME TBA***
