USG is partnering with Love for Red, a 501(c)(3) non-profit with a mission of providing adequate access to menstrual products for elementary, middle, and high schools in the Iowa City and Des Moines area. The partnership is a period product drive, in which student organizations can register, purchase products, and drop off the products at our various boxes around campus. The student organization with the highest number of products donated will win a cash prize!! 1.) Buy period products to donate or donate unopened packages (by the box/set, not individual items) (Items: pads, tampons, panty liners, hygiene wipes) 2.) Put items in a disposable bag (old plastic grocery store bag) 3.) Bring items to a drop off location (see below) and fill out the provided sticker with APO's team number, the date, and the number of items donated 1. Main Library (2nd Floor) 2. Voxman Music Building 3. Lindquist Center 4. Center for Inclusive Academic Excellence 5. IMU For APO credit, every 2 items donated is worth a half of service hour.
