Back to the Boro offers a unique opportunity for Rowan University to give back to the Glassboro community. Although, Back to the Boro, or as other universities call it The Big Event, has become the largest one-day, student-run service project in the nation, our message and our mission remains the same – to simply say “Thank You.” *Every participant must have their Rowan ID. *The main contact from each group and all participants signing up individually MUST ATTEND ONE of these MANDATORY informational meetings. If the main contact is unable to attend, please send another jobsite leader. When you attend the Information Meeting you will be notified the number of Jobsites your group received and which jobsite leaders have been assigned: Tuesday, April 19th 5:00pm-6:00pm, Student Center 221 Thursday, April 21st 2:00pm-3:00pm, Discovery 132 **Back to the Boro Schedule** Check-In Begins --> 11:00am-12:30pm Group Picture and Sendoff Speakers --> 12:45pm Depart for Projects --> 12:55pm Working at Service Sites --> 1:00-3:00pm Community Barbecue --> 3pm-4:30pm Both check-in and the community barbecue will take place in Lot C, next to the Richard Wacker stadium and along Carpenter Street. Please do not depart for any projects until 12:55pm.
