The QU Physical Therapy Club will be holding it’s 38th Annual Special Athletics Day on Saturday, April 13th from 10:00am to 1:00pm in BURT KHAN. This is a fun-filled day in which athletes participate in a variety of different activities, including dancing, games, sports, crafts, and lots of other fun events! It’s a great opportunity for the athletes to enjoy themselves and for volunteers to give back to our community. We would like to invite you to join us for this event. We are looking for individuals to pair with our athletes and also to assist with many of the activities of the day. We would really appreciate it if you would share this information with your club, team, or association at your next meeting or via email. Participants would need to arrive by 9:30am because this is when our first athletes start arriving. We do need a few volunteers to help set up that morning at 7:30am. These volunteers that help set up in the morning will receive a complimentary breakfast. This year our event has an Outer Space theme, so we would love to have the participants dress in theme (casual). We will be giving out t-shirts to many of the first volunteers who sign up and arrive at the event, however Space themed attire is still encouraged.
