On March 19th at 6:00 PM, the Sigma Beta Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is hosting an exciting FREE event for the entire Quinnipiac Community called “Say Her Name”. This event is a viewing of the HBO Documentary Say Her Name: The Life & Death of Sandra Bland. After viewing the HBO Documentary, they will have a panel discussion moderated by Paul Bass, the Editor and Chief of the New Haven Independent and with special guest speaker Sharon Cooper a life-long social activist and the sister of Sandra Bland. Doors open at 5:30 PM and refreshments will be served immediately after the event.
