For those of you who are still looking for some service hours, Bill Amidon reached out to Annie about a potential service opportunity THIS SATURDAY! Bill had a fellow Boy Scout friend reach out to him in need of assistance passing out food bags for there annual food drive at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Meriden, Paddock Ave. He said they usually spend 2-3 hours passing out the bags and a person can put out 100-150 bags in that time and there is roughly a 10% return rate. So even if just two students can help out he said it will make a huge difference. They are down to only 10 boy scouts who are able to attend and if they can't get the bags out they can't raise any donations. This is a great opportunity to work with a scout troop and potential create a new bond with for future events!
