Cub Scout Fright Night

Date: Oct 28, 2017 at 4:00pm to 9:00pm
Helping run games in and around the dining hall, also face painting, balloon animals, pumpkin decorating, entertaining the children. The theme in the dining hall is Harry Potter (wand making, potions, Quiddich) Helping load and unload the hay wagon that takes the people out to the sites. This is done outside the dining hall. Running one of the fright night sites: You are responsible for decorating the site and having costumed people to entertain the groups coming through the site. There should be two versions of the site. The early version (Fright Light) is designed for small children (3-6) and may be mildly scary. The second version is for the older children (6-11). That may be a little scarier and include surprises for the guests. All entertainment must be Scout appropriate and there should be no touching of the participants. There is no electricity in the site, so you must use lanterns for light (I may be able to bring my car to the site and run a 1000 watt converter). You may have sound effects in the site. The picture below is a typical lean-to site. You will be able to use all six lean-tos and the open area in the site.
