Started 28 years ago at Texas A & M University, the Big Event has grown to be the largest, one-day, student-run service project in the nation. It's aim to give back presents students with the opportunity to say "Thank You" to residents of the surrounding communities. Together the Student Government Association (SGA) and the Community Action Project (CAP) are working to bring this day of service again to the Quinnipiac community. -- Meet at the rec center around 8:00, teams will be dispersed from there to areas around Hamden/Greater New Haven. You should be back on campus around 1 where they usually have free lunch.
