The second Talks on the Rocks of the semester will take place on Tuesday, October 7th at 6:00 PM. This event is located at the On the Rocks Pub on York Hill and is co-hosted by SGA Vice President for Student Experience T'aura Smith and Chief Experience Officer Tom Ellett. During this event, President Hardin will accompany students to discuss their thoughts on the importance of education and its benefits. This will be a space for attendees to discuss the role, if any, that education plays in preparing students for life beyond academia. Note that there is limited availability for this event, so please only RSVP if you are certain that you can attend. If you sign up and then realize you cannot attend, please alert us within 48 hours or find someone to fill your spot, otherwise your meal plan will be charged $30.
