Ever played Farmville and Hay Day, and think "WOW I want to do this in real life?" Get in that Oklahoma spirit and join us at Campus Farm! The Duke Campus Farm is a one-acre, working farm that provides sustainably grown produce and food systems education for Duke and its surrounding communities. In collaboration with our undergraduate and graduate student farm crew, academic courses and research, we grow and harvest for Duke's food purveyors, local restaurants, and our Community Supported Agriculture program. More important than the thousands of pounds of food we grow, however, are the opportunities the farm provides for engaging and reimagining the ways we cultivate, access, value, and think about food. What to Wear & Bring: Comfortable, closed-toe shoes Long pants (to prevent skin contact with insects & plants that may cause discomfort) Refillable water bottle & snacks Sunscreen and/or a hat Getting there/Parking: Coming from Duke University, take 751 to the roundabout and turn down Old Erwin Rd towards Chapel Hill. Turn right at Mt. Sinai and take another right onto Friends School Road. Just across from the Carolina Friends School, take another right onto the driveway marked Duke Campus Farm visitor parking.
