Students will work in groups of 2-4 either making brief educational presentations to walker teams as they gather and await the start of the Walk or will engage the waiting walkers in a social media exercise as "hunger voters," or will engage walkers in educational games, including passing out CROP Walk "Passports" to walkers (so they can play the "passport" game while walking). All information and materials needed for these activities will be supplied to the volunteers, along with training. The Global Village will open at 1:30 p.m., with the volunteer activities lasting until 2:30, when the Walk begins. The training for volunteers will begin at 12:45 p.m. at the statue in front of Duke Chapel.
