You will be given a start and finish time when you check in at the Volunteer Area, however you may be released early or asked to stay longer, if needed. Each day you volunteer, you will get a single-day WonderCon Anaheim badge for that day only. You can enjoy all the convention has to offer when you are not on assignment. Getting an Assignment: Most assignments will be given out on a first- come, first-served basis, but don't worry, there are plenty of assignments for everyone. Please report to the Volunteer Area when you first arrive at the Anaheim Convention Center. You may check in at the Volunteer Area during the posted Volunteer Area hours (see below). When you check in, you will be given a single-day badge and will receive your first assignment. Please have a valid photo ID ready when you check in. If your assignment time is later in the day, you are welcome to enjoy the convention until it is time to report to your assignment. Volunteer Tip: Be sure to check out the programming schedule (available online a couple of weeks before the show) before you come for an assignment. If there is a certain panel or screening you want to see, we will try to schedule your volunteer time around it. Pre-Convention Assignments: If you indicated on your form that you are available to volunteer before the show, you may be contacted the week before the event with a specific time to check in at the Volunteer Area. If you don't hear from us, you can check in for your assignment anytime during Volunteer Area hours.
