Event Description- rideATAXIA[+] SoCal is a neighborhood charity bike ride that will be held at St. Rita Catholic Church, Sierra Madre on Saturday March 4, 2017. The ride will offer 9 and 3.5 mile routes through Sierra Madre followed by delicious post ride food prepared by Outback Steakhouse. rideATAXIA[+] SoCal benefits the Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA)- a nonprofit organization dedicated to research leading to treatments and a cure for Friedreich's ataxia (FA). FA is a debilitating, life shortening degenerative neuro-muscular disorder. Course Marshal Volunteers will help monitor and direct participants at intersections along the course. Course Marshals do NOT direct vehicular traffic. Event volunteers will receive a t shirt and lunch (served 10:30am-12:30pm) Chair: Naomi Wada Pledge chair: Allen Aguilar
