The residents of Women’s Village are in various stages of the journey to overcome homelessness and other challenges. Once a month, L.A. Works volunteers come to Women's Village to support their bravery with a little pampering and companionship by providing basic manicures, hand scrubs, mud masks and hand massages. Volunteers don't have to be experts at giving manicures. This experience is more about bonding with the women and giving them an opportunity to connect with others.
