Los Angeles Angelman Syndrome National Walk

Date: May 21, 2016 at 8:00am to 12:00pm
The Los Angeles Angelman Syndrome National Walk will join 39 other cities nationwide to host this community-wide event themed to raise funds and awareness for Angelman Syndrome. Angelman syndrome (AS) is a neuro-genetic disorder that occurs in one in 15,000 live births. Characteristics of the disorder include developmental delay, lack of speech, seizures, and walking and balance disorders. Individuals with Angelman syndrome will require life-long care. We are helping with event set up, signage, and clean-up. Chair: Victoria Lai Pledge Chair: Brenda Valenzuela
