SLO Bonfire is Zeta Omicron's annual interchapter event, hosted in the quiet town of San Luis Obispo. While it had been a longstanding tradition for the chapter, it fell out of practice until recently, in 2010, when it was brought back into play. Nowadays, there are typically 200+ brothers in attendance, as well as over 15 chapters from all over California. The fun-filled event commonly consists of friendly competition and memorable bonding with your fellow IC brothers. At the end of the day, everyone winds down with a bonfire on one of San Luis Obispo's local beaches. SLO Bonfire is the perfect getaway for brothers to take a step back from school work and enjoy the tight knit brotherhood that Alpha Phi Omega has to offer.
