EVERY DAY LA Region Red Cross responds to a few home fires that displace residents. People lose everything they have- medical records, baby pictures, medical equipment, their entire livelihoods sometimes. So the Home Fire Campaign is a nationwide campaign where the American Red Cross is trying to lower the risk of fire related deaths and injuries by 25% by 2019. Red Cross plans on doing this by offering the community FREE smoke alarms (2-6 per home) and educating the families on proper home fire safety. We will be installing fire alarms into homes that are of low income families. Rho Gamma will be there and possibly Alpha Delta Theta (still needs confirmation).
