Parking will be near baseball fields. Meet at Lot 7 @ 8:15am, Leaving at 8:30. WHEN: The second Saturday of each month, starting at 9:30 am. We will work roughly in 2 shifts, from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm – 3:30, with a pizza lunch in between. Feel free to come for one shift or both! WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT: Fun, exercise, and great people. We will be combating invasive species of plants, as well as picking up trash. WHAT TO BRING: Water, gloves, closed-toe shoes, long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and sun protection. WHERE: Ballona Wetlands northeast – Along the Ballona Creek bike path just east of Lincoln Blvd. and on the south side of Culver Blvd. Look for the group near the baseball field parking lots. Depending on the date this location may change, but the site will stay updated.
