We are super excited to partner with There Goes My Hero to host a bone marrow registry drive for National Service Week! The goal of the drive is to add people to the registry through a quick cheek swab. Every year, 17,500 people will need a bone marrow or stem cell transplant to cure their blood cancer or disorder. Joining the registry can help save a life! We need volunteers stationed at Levering Courtyard, the Breezeway, and in front of Shriver to both encourage people to get swabbed and direct them to the room! You will be provided with signs Hopefully, we can provide pizza and candy so we'll need volunteers overseeing those areas too! Comment where you want to be positioned - Breezeway (2 people per shift) - In front of Shriver Hall (2 people per shift) - Levering Courtyard (2 people per shift) - Clipper Room (2 people per shift) ***You must take a picture at the end of your shift(s) and upload it to the service coordinator form (under important links) to receive service credit***
