Service Area: Education Reading Partners is a national nonprofit that mobilizes communities to provide students with the proven, individualized reading support they need to read at grade level by fourth grade. They partner with under-resourced schools and engage volunteers to work one-on-one with students who struggle with reading. Our volunteers provide hour-long tutoring sessions to students— following a structured, evidence-based curriculum developed with an expert team of curriculum advisors. (https://readingpartners.org/about-us/) The Baltimore Chapter partners with Dallas F. Nicholas Elementary School (201 E 21st St, Baltimore, MD 21218) and they are looking for in-person tutors!! No previous tutoring experience is required and all tutoring materials, lessons, and training will be provided by Reading Partners.
