System issue addressed: Quality of the environment Blue Water Baltimore’s Forestry Team is hosting a Pruning Party to prune and maintain some of the recently planted trees in the south Baltimore neighborhood of Greektown. Greektown has a leaf canopy of 8%, so it's super important to make sure the trees planted there to thrive and grow! Pruning helps encourage growth and maintain structure and is especially important for trees growing in city environments. BWB asks y'all to please be prepared for working outdoors in cold weather. Wear lots of layers, warm boots, and gloves. Hats and sunglasses are also strongly encouraged.
