I've been getting feedback about YO! volunteering, and some of y'all have mentioned that it is difficult to come up with practice problems on the spot. What makes this even harder is that the GED has a lot of word problems, and those can take some time to come up with for sure :/ During this event, we will be creating word problems for APO and other volunteers to use when tutoring our clients working to earn their GEDs. As I and others who have worked with YO! can attest, the youth at YO! are working hard so that they can improve their circumstances, so I PROMISE this will be a meaningful use of your time!
