Many students don't get the opportunity to experience things outside their community. Share a cool location with a child who might not otherwise get to see it! Examples include : a pond, stream, farm, apple orchard, local museum, or even a tour of your neighborhood. Here is what you should include in your video: • Describe the location • What are some things you can do there? • Why do you enjoy visiting the location? • Any other interesting information. When filming, keep these tips in mind: • Shoot in landscape (horizontal) mode • Clean your lens before shooting your video • Be in the best light you can be. Shoot with natural light – with the light facing you – if possible • Don’t zoom in because it can create pixilation • Put your phone in airplane mode to avoid sounds/notifications while shooting And have fun! Your video will be added to a playlist that children will be able to access and enjoy. **Credit will be awarded as follows: 1 credit for a video recorded at one location 0.5 additional credits for each new location added in the video for a maximum of 2 credits. For example if you recorded a field trip to the Rotunda and the Shriver COVID test center that would be 1.5 credits!** ** YOU CAN RECORD WITH FRIENDS ** For each additional person in the squad, you have to add one additional location to receive the same amount of credit for all people in the group.
