Community Partner: Maryland Zoo Systemic Issue Addressed: Financial burden caused by the expense of caring for zoos How you are helping: By volunteering to help run one of their most successful fundraising events, you alleviate the financial burden that the Zoo would have in order to pay extra workers to run it. The more money they save, the better lives they can provide for the animals. Although this is a Private Zoo, we can still help the animals that reside within it.
