The Maryland Zoo's annual family friendly Halloween festival is back but has been expanded! Volunteers will help with games, crafts, trick or treat stations, costume contests, hay maze, and more over three different weekends in October. Volunteers will be given an assignment at check-in the day of your shift. Systemic Issue Addressed: Financial burden caused by the expense of caring for zoos. By volunteering to help run this event, you alleviate the financial burden that the Zoo would have in order to pay extra workers to run their events. The more money they save, the better lives they can provide for the animals.
