Kadampa Meditation Center is a modern Buddhist temple, home to the World Peace Gardens-Baltimore. They're seeking a few volunteers for their annual gardening event, which will involve many of the same tasks as usual garden cleanup Fridays, as well as helping cultivate some of the decorative garden pieces at the Center. Action tasks: Removing sticks, weeds, etc. General gardening and grounds maintenance tasks. Dress accordingly to be outside and wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirt on. Please wear socks because entry indoors requires that shoes be removed. Gloves and other necessary equipment will be provided. 9:45 AM -- Depart from Commons 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM -- Volunteer at Kadampa Meditation Center 1:15 PM -- Return to Campus Mode of Transport: HopVan/Lyft
