Service Area: Community Building Most volunteers will be course marshals. These volunteers will help keep the runners/walkers on course and help motivate them by cheering them on. We do also have availability to help hand out snacks in our race village. Systemic Issue Addressed: Financial burden caused by the expense of caring for zoos. By volunteering to help run this event, you alleviate the financial burden that the Zoo would have in order to pay extra workers to run their events. The more money they save, the better lives they can provide for the animals.
