This event was brought to us by an APO alumni member!! The JDRF is the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization that is focused on raising money for research to make it safer and healthier to live with Type 1 Diabetes until it is no longer a threat. The One Walk, is one of the biggest fundraisers for Diabetes throughout the year. They need the help of volunteers like us, to make this a successful event. Please consider signing up for multiple shifts on the SignUpGenius. Especially as this is nice and early in the semester before tests start to happen. It will be on Sunday, September 16th at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. There are volunteer shifts available between the hours of 7 am and 2 pm.
