This is a humanitarian mapathon, which means that we're contributing to a crowdsourced online map, which is sort of a Wikipedia Google Maps. Mapping this area, which is on the coast of Senegal, is especially crucial because researchers are currently building a predictive model of the spread of water based disease, so having an interactable model of the buildings and water features there is especially important.
