The Smart Museum has been inundated with boxes of blankets for Welcome Blanket, and they have made a shift just for our brothers to help them!!! Welcome Blanket re-imagines the length of the proposed US-Mexico border wall as a tapestry of handmade blankets. The evolving display at the Smart Museum (through December 17) features knit, crocheted, and quilted blankets sent from around the world with accompanying notes of welcome for immigrants and refugees. Help unpack, document, and prepare the blankets for display at this unpacking party.
