After a scheduling SNAFU, I am back and ready as ever to lead this ~dope~ colloquium. Come on out to our first ever leadership colloquium and be inspired by the work of labor activists through the ages. Have you ever wondered how to smash the bourgeoisie? Well, then do I have the colloquium for you! Come learn about the very important (and interesting) history of labor within the U.S. Do you know when the 8 hour day began to be campaigned for? Do you know when the Fair Labor Standards Act was passed and what it originally called for? No? Then roll thru this colloquium and learn about the long history of labor and labor activism in the U.S. Caveat: it will have a bent towards urban history and 19th and 20th century history :) I'll be bringing snacks, so please sign up early that way I know how much food to bring!
